About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our client's team in South Nowra.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in manufacturing, with consistent weekday work and the opportunity to transition from casual employment to a permanent full-time position.

You will assist with the manufacturing of goods, operating machinery and supporting general production activities within a hands-on environment. Previous manufacturing or production experience would be advantageous, although we are happy to consider candidates who are eager to learn and have a strong work ethic.

A forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you may be required to:

• Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment safely.

• Assist with the production and processing of goods.

• Monitor production processes and maintain product quality.

• Complete general labouring and production duties as required.

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.

• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets.

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on and keen to contribute to a productive team.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production or a similar hands-on role.

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• The ability to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Current Australian working rights.

• A current forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
