About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers to join a precast concrete manufacturing team in Brisbane.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants consistent, full-time hours in a manufacturing yard environment. You will assist with the production and preparation of precast concrete panels, including cleaning, stripping and general yard duties.

Working Monday to Friday, you will join a team that values safety, teamwork and quality workmanship, with competitive pay and industry benefits on offer.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Cleaning and stripping precast concrete panels

• Assisting with concrete labouring and general production duties

• Preparing and maintaining work areas to ensure a safe and organised environment

• Using hand tools and equipment to assist with daily yard operations

• Following workplace health and safety procedures

• Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets

About You

We are looking for someone who is practical, dependable and comfortable with physically demanding work.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous labouring, construction or manufacturing experience

• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude

• The ability to undertake repetitive manual handling and physical tasks

• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

• A commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship

• Reliability and a willingness to learn new skills

Requirements

• Current White Card

• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport preferred

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening and national police check

• Full Australian working rights

What We Offer

• $42.81 per hour

• $32 daily travel allowance

• Paid ordinary hours: 7.2 hours per day, plus 0.80 hours of RDO accrual daily

• Weekly redundancy contributions: BERT $62, BEWT $7 and CIPQ $22.50

• Overtime paid at double time

• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
