About the Opportunity

We’re looking for experienced Formwork Carpenters to join a well-established precast concrete manufacturing facility in Brisbane, working on components that will become part of major infrastructure and commercial projects across Queensland and beyond.

This is a permanent, full-time yard-based role where you’ll be hands-on building and assembling the formwork and moulds behind large-scale precast products — putting your skills to work on projects that have a real impact.

Best of all, you can work on major projects without living out of a suitcase. You’ll work from the same Brisbane manufacturing facility each day, alongside an experienced team, with ongoing work, overtime opportunities and the stability of being home every night.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you may be required to:

• Construct and assemble formwork and moulds for precast concrete products
• Read and interpret detailed plans, drawings and measurements
• Measure, cut and assemble timber and other materials
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Modify, repair and adjust existing formwork as required
• Ensure formwork is built accurately and to required specifications
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
• Keep the work area clean, organised and safe
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

About You

We’re looking for a hands-on and experienced Formwork Carpenter who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• The ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
• Experience in precast concrete manufacturing or construction environments is highly regarded
• Strong measuring and practical carpentry skills
• Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
• A reliable and proactive approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of an experienced team

Requirements

• Previous formwork carpentry experience
• White Card
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• Ability to work Monday to Friday with overtime when required
• Full Australian working rights
• Complete a national police check + pre-employment medical
