About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced MR and HR Drivers to join our client’s waste services team based in Nowra.

You will be operating vacuum trucks to service and clean grease traps, septic systems and portable toilets across the local area.

This position will initially commence on a casual basis, working full-time hours, with the potential to move into a permanent full-time position for the right person.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for local work, consistent Monday to Friday hours and the ability to be home every night.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be required to:

• Operate MR or HR vacuum trucks safely and efficiently
• Operate vacuum and pumping equipment
• Handle hoses and associated equipment
• Service grease traps, septic systems and portable toilets
• Follow safe work procedures and client requirements
• Maintain a professional and reliable approach when working with customers and on-site locations

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous truck driving experience
• Is comfortable operating equipment and handling hoses
• Has a strong focus on safety
• Is reliable and punctual
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Is comfortable with physical work as required
• Takes pride in providing a professional service

Requirements

• Current MR or HR Driver’s Licence
• Previous truck driving experience
• Full Australian working rights
