About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking reliable and customer-focused Waste Depot Attendants to join our client’s team in Nowra.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is comfortable interacting with members of the public. You will play an important role in helping the depot operate safely, efficiently and in a clean and organised manner.

This is local work in the Shoalhaven, with opportunities for ongoing employment for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you may be required to:

• Assist members of the public using the waste depot
• Provide clear and friendly directions regarding waste disposal
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe depot environment
• Monitor waste disposal areas and keep the site organised
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Assist with general manual handling and labouring duties as required
• Work effectively as part of a team

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Is comfortable working outdoors in a waste depot environment
• Has good communication and customer service skills
• Is confident interacting with members of the public
• Can follow safety procedures and site instructions
• Is physically capable of completing general labouring duties
• Can work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• White Card
• Current Driver’s Licence preferred
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a medical and/or drug & alcohol testing
