About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Driver to join a large waste management company based at their Nowra depot.

This is a great opportunity to work locally and support an established waste operation during one of the busiest periods of the year.

You will be responsible for operating hook lift and side lift trucks to collect and service commercial and residential waste bins across the local area.

Full training will be provided on the specific vehicles and equipment, with the hourly rate increasing once you are fully trained and competent in the role.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be required to:

• Operate HR hook lift and side lift waste trucks
• Collect and service commercial and residential waste bins
• Complete waste collection runs safely and efficiently
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety issues
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Provide professional and reliable service while working in the community

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a current HR Driver’s Licence
• Has a safe and responsible approach to driving
• Is reliable, punctual and committed to their work
• Can work independently while following established procedures
• Has good communication skills and a positive attitude

Requirements

• Current HR Driver’s Licence
• Previous experience driving HR vehicles
• Ability to safely operate and learn hook lift and side lift equipment
• Full Australian working rights
