About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Casual Chef to join a local restaurant in the Nowra area.

This is a great opportunity to join a small team and work within a quality dining environment, providing customers with a fine dining experience.

The role is seasonal and would suit a Chef looking for consistent local work across Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be required to:

• Assist with food preparation and kitchen operations
• Support dinner service and ensure food is prepared to a high standard
• Assist with stock management and kitchen organisation
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation
• Work collaboratively within a small kitchen team

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working as a Chef or in a professional kitchen
• Takes pride in preparing quality food
• Works well under pressure during busy service periods
• Has a reliable and positive approach to work
• Can work effectively as part of a small team
• Has strong food safety and hygiene awareness

Requirements

• Previous commercial kitchen or Chef experience
• Food Safety knowledge
• Trade qualified
• Ability to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday shifts between 1pm and 9pm
• Full Australian working rights
