About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our client's team in Nowra.

We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes satisfaction in seeing the results of their efforts. You'll play an important role in maintaining high standards across a busy commercial site, helping ensure the workplace is clean, organised and ready for daily operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and is looking for weekday hours with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be required to:

• Clean offices, meeting rooms and common areas to a high standard
• Vacuum, mop, sweep and dust designated work areas
• Clean and sanitise kitchens, lunchrooms, bathrooms and staff amenities
• Clean hallways, foyers and other large hard-floor areas
• Spot clean walls, glass, doors and high-touch surfaces
• Empty rubbish bins and replenish consumables as required
• Report maintenance issues, hazards and damaged equipment promptly
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous commercial cleaning experience
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
• A reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to take pride in your work

Essential Requirements

• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Ability to operate or learn commercial cleaning equipment
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and/or drug & alcohol screening if required
• Full Australian working rights
