About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters to join our client within the precast concrete manufacturing industry based in Brisbane.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent full-time position directly with our client within a busy and fast-paced yard environment. Working alongside an experienced production team, you will play a key role in the construction and assembly of formwork used in precast concrete production.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you may be required to:

• Construct and assemble formwork for precast concrete products
• Read and interpret drawings and measurements
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Carry out repairs and modifications to existing formwork
• Work closely with production and yard teams to meet production deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Formwork Carpenter
• Experience within precast or construction environments (highly regarded)
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Commitment to workplace safety

Requirements

• Current White Card
• Current Driver Licence
• Previous formwork carpentry experience
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Full Australian working rights
