Civil Leading Hand – Bringelly

An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Civil Leading Hand to join a subdivision project based in Bringelly.

This is an initial 3–4 week assignment with the potential for ongoing work on future projects for the right person.

About the Role

Working within a small crew environment, you will lead by example and remain hands-on throughout the project. You will be responsible for coordinating daily activities, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently, and assisting with construction tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising a small crew of 2–3 workers
• Installation and stacking of mortarless retaining wall systems
• Glueing retaining wall blocks and components
• Backfilling and associated civil works
• Reading and interpreting construction plans
• Coordinating daily site activities
• Maintaining a safe and productive work environment
• Assisting on the tools alongside the crew

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Civil Leading Hand
• Strong background in subdivision and civil construction works
• Experience with retaining wall construction highly regarded
• Ability to read and interpret plans independently
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A hands-on approach with a willingness to work alongside the crew
• Construction White Card

Tools Required

Candidates will be required to supply their own basic hand and power tools, including:

• Blower
• Grinder
• Standard hand tools
• Basic power tools relevant to the role
