The Role in Brief

We’re partnering with a well-established fabrication workshop delivering high-end stainless steel and architectural metalwork across commercial kitchens, bars, and large-scale fit-outs.

They’re looking for a skilled tradesperson who can take full ownership of jobs — from initial drawings through to final polished install. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role suited to someone who values quality over volume.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working across the full fabrication lifecycle, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings
• Preparing materials and setting out jobs
• Operating workshop machinery including brake press
• TIG welding stainless steel components
• Completing detailed finishing (grinding, sanding, polishing)
• Final assembly and quality checks
• Supporting on-site installs when required

Non-Negotiables

To be considered, you must bring:

• Solid background in commercial kitchen or bar fabrication
• Strong TIG welding capability with stainless steel
• Proven ability to deliver high-end finishes
• Confidence reading and working from fabrication drawings
• Experience managing jobs from start to finish
• Ability to work independently without supervision

Experience Profile

• ~5+ years in stainless steel fabrication
• Trade qualified (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent)
• Comfortable using brake press and standard workshop equipment
• Detail-focused with a high standard of workmanship
• Able to manage deadlines and workload effectively

Tickets & Practical Requirements

• NSW White Card
• Current driver’s licence
• Own basic hand tools
• Physically capable of workshop and occasional site-based work
