Role: Front of House – Food & Beverage Attendant
Location: Illaroo, NSW South Coast
Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Employment Type: Casual with event support

Overview

We’re scaling up operations across our café and visitor engagement channels within a vibrant regional cultural destination. We’re looking for a customer-centric Food & Beverage Attendant to deliver best-in-class service across daily café operations and intermittent onsite events.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, friendly front-of-house service during café trading hours and supported events.
• Accurately manage point-of-sale transactions, handle cash/eftpos, and balance tills.
• Prepare espresso coffee and basic beverages to quality standards.
• Assist with café setup, presentation, and pack-down routines.
• Support event service logistics (guest service, food-and-beverage flow, coordination with back-of-house).
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety and presentation consistent with brand and venue requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
• Demonstrated coffee preparation experience and confident customer service in hospitality (desirable)
• Clear communication skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Reliability and punctuality across a rostered Wed–Sun schedule.

• Prior experience in a café or cultural venue environment.
