Excavator Operator with Backhoe Experience – Wollongong

$49.66 p/h + penalties | Civil Maintenance Work | Project-based

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator with proven backhoe operating capability to support civil maintenance works in Wollongong. The role requires solid operating competency, reliability, and a strong safety focus.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate excavators and backhoe machinery safely and efficiently
• Support civil maintenance tasks including trenching, backfilling, loading and site preparation
• Assist with manual labouring activities to ensure project deliverables are met
• Maintain safe work practices and adhere to WHS procedures

Requirements:
• Demonstrated excavator and backhoe operating experience
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Own PPE for civil construction environments
• Strong communication and teamwork capability
• Reliable and safety-focused

Details:
• Location: Wollongong
• Rate: $49.66 per hour + penalties
• Scope: Civil maintenance works (project-based)
