Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse team. This casual role offers full-time hours, with the potential to transition into a permanent position. The role involves operating forklifts to move goods, load and unload deliveries, and assist with general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to move, lift, and transport pallets and other goods.
• Load and unload deliveries, prepare shipments, and put away stock.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with WHS standards.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks including order picking, manual handling, and stock control.
• Report any equipment faults, hazards, or safety incidents immediately.

Requirements:

• Valid forklift licence (LF); experience with high-reach or counterbalance forklifts preferred.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks safely.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for stock handling and documentation.

Desirable:

• Experience with inventory systems and warehouse management software.
• Previous exposure to fast-paced manufacturing, logistics, or FMCG environments.
