Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Arborist to maintain and enhance public green spaces. This role involves assessing tree health, performing pruning and removal, and ensuring all work meets safety and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will work on a variety of urban tree management projects and help maintain safe, attractive, and sustainable outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and assess the health and safety of trees in public areas.
• Prune, trim, and remove trees using safe and efficient methods.
• Operate and maintain arboricultural equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and elevated work platforms (EWPs).
• Assist with tree planting and ongoing maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Respond to enquiries regarding tree management and maintenance projects.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications in Arboriculture, Horticulture, or similar.
• Experience in tree care, including pruning, removal, and EWP operation.
• Knowledge of tree health, species identification, and pest/disease management.
• Current driver’s licence and White Card.
• Strong safety awareness and risk management skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable:

• Arborist certification or industry accreditations.
• Experience in urban tree management or public space landscaping.
