This role is within a well-established manufacturing business specialising in precision metal fabrication for a wide range of domestic and international clients. The facility features modern CNC turret-punch machines, CNC press-brakes and multi-axis routing systems, supporting a variety of production requirements.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a skilled Machine Operator to work hands-on in the machines section. The role focuses on safely and efficiently operating machinery, ensuring production output meets quality and specification standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turret-punch, CNC press-brake, and multi-axis routing equipment to deliver accurate production output
• Perform machine set-ups, adjustments, and quality checks for each job
• Prepare materials and machines for upcoming jobs to maintain smooth workflow
• Identify and report equipment or quality issues promptly
• Maintain machine cleanliness, readiness, and basic upkeep according to operational standards
• Follow WHS protocols and maintain a safe, organised work area
• Record machine activity and job completion data as required

What We’re Looking For

• Experience operating CNC machinery, press-brakes, or similar production equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
• Ability to read job sheets, follow production instructions, and maintain high-quality standards
• Reliable and safety-focused with excellent attention to detail
• Team player capable of assisting with workflow preparation as needed
