RIGGER – PRECAST YARD (PERMANENT FULL-TIME)


Location: Yatala, QLD
EBA Rates: $48.93 per hour + allowances + overtime + daily travel allowance
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday – consistent yard-based work



We are seeking an experienced and ticketed Rigger to join our established precast yard operation based in Yatala. This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering stable employment, excellent hourly rates, and consistent work at a single site — no travel between sites required.



Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safe and efficient rigging operations for precast concrete elements.
• Work collaboratively with crane operators, yard staff, and supervisors to ensure seamless lifting and placement activities.
• Perform inspections on lifting gear and rigging equipment prior to use.
• Assist with load preparation, placement, and quality checks.
• Maintain compliance with all Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
• Support general yard duties as required within the precast production process.

Requirements:

• Current and valid Rigger Licence
• White Card (Construction Induction).
• Proven experience working in a precast or heavy lifting environment.
• Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and load handling.
• High level of reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work autonomously within a structured team environment.
