Join Our Team as a Waste Operations Logistics Officer – Shoalhaven

Are you organised, proactive, and ready to make a real impact in waste operations? We are looking for a Waste Operations Logistics Officer to coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, and resources across Shoalhaven’s waste services.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and coordinate daily vehicle movements, deliveries, and equipment transfers.
• Keep transport schedules, inventory, and records accurate and up to date.
• Liaise with internal teams and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Support fleet maintenance and emergency logistics needs.
• Assist with procurement and stock control of operational supplies.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and operational policies.

What We’re Looking For (Ideally):

• Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations, Certificate III in Logistics, or equivalent experience.
• Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with logistics software or systems (GPS tracking, inventory management).
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements.
• Current Class C Driver’s Licence and right to work in Australia.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience in local government or waste management logistics.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations related to waste transport.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
