What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Safely operate forklifts (counterbalance and high reach)
  • Pick and pack prefabricated steel kits (sheds, fencing, carports)
  • Read and follow pick lists or job sheets
  • Follow site safety rules and use PPE
  • Work as part of a supportive, fast-paced team

What We’re Looking For:

  • A valid Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Experience using forklifts in a yard, warehouse, or factory
  • Fit for physical work and familiar with safe manual handling
  • Strong safety focus and work ethic
  • Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening

Forklift Loader – Steel Yard (Townsville – Bohle)

Location: Townsville – Bohle
Shifts: Monday to Thursday 7:30am–4:00pm, Friday 7:30am–1:00pm
Work Type: Ongoing casual with full-time potential

We’re currently recruiting for a Forklift Loader to support a busy steel yard in Bohle. This hands-on role involves picking, packing, and loading long-length steel sheeting and mixed orders. If you’ve got strong forklift skills and a solid work ethic, this could be a great fit.

About the Role:

  • Pick and pack steel orders using a forklift
  • Load trucks and utes with long-length sheeting
  • Follow pick lists and ensure customer orders are accurate
  • Maintain safety and assist team as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Experience loading/unloading steel or bulky items
  • Physically capable and reliable
  • Willing to follow site procedures
  • Must pass drug & alcohol screening
