Backhoe Operator

We are seeking an experienced Backhoe Operator to join our civil works team for an immediate start. This is a local, Monday to Friday, ongoing role based in the Shoalhaven area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe and efficient operation of a backhoe for civil construction and maintenance tasks
• Trenching, digging, lifting, loading, and backfilling as required
• Assisting with site preparation and clean-up
• Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance of the machine
• Working closely with ground crews to ensure smooth and safe workflow
• Following all WHS guidelines and site instructions to maintain a safe work environment

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience operating a backhoe (ticket not required)
• Current White Card – essential
• Strong understanding of safe operating procedures and site protocols
• Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
