Experienced Construction Labourers Wanted – Pathway to Upskilling in Steel Fixing & Formwork Carpentry

Location: Brisbane, QLD | Industry: Precast Concrete Manufacturing

Are you an experienced construction labourer ready to transition off-site into a structured, high-performing precast environment? We’re offering stable, permanent on-going work Monday to Friday averaging 10-hour days with no risk of rain days and clear, pathways to quickly upskill into specialist roles including steel fixing ($48/hr) and formwork carpentry ($50/hr) — all within a supportive and growth-focused team.

What’s in it for you:

• EBA rates starting from $42.39/hour and increasing rapidly with skills development
• $32 daily travel allowance
• Paid 7.2 ordinary hours/day + 0.80 RDO accrued daily
• Weekly redundancy contributions (BERT $62, BEWT $7, CIPQ $22.50)
• Overtime after 7.2 ordinary hours, paid at double time.
• Permanent, full-time role
• Ongoing training and upskilling opportunities in steel fixing and formwork

About the Role:

Based in a large-scale precast yard in Brisbane, you’ll play a hands-on role in producing concrete components for major civil and infrastructure projects. With your background in civil or general construction, you’ll immediately contribute to operations while building capability in:

• Formwork carpentry and/or
• Steel fixing

We’re looking for candidates who have:

• Proven civil or construction labouring experience (essential)
• A proactive approach, eagerness to develop new skills
• Physically fit with a reliable, safety-first mindset
• White Card (mandatory)
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
