On Line Recruitment is seeking a confident and capable Legal Bookkeeper to join a long-standing and well-regarded law firm with offices in Nowra. With over 20 years of legal practice, this firm offers a stable and professional environment where high standards, team collaboration, and attention to detail are highly valued.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented professional with a solid foundation in bookkeeping and a genuine interest in contributing to the continued success of the business. Legal industry experience is preferred but not essential for candidates with strong transferable skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weekly invoicing and financial processing
• Accounts payable management
• Payroll processing and petty cash handling
• Trust, Office, and controlled monies account management
• Debtor control, reconciliation of ledgers, and reporting
• Budget review and monitoring
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements and ATO liaison
• Regular reporting to management and directors
• Supporting reception when required (e.g., answering phones, taking payments)

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A tertiary qualification or experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Experience in a legal or professional services setting (Not Essential)
• Confidence working with MYOB; experience with LEAP and NAB Connect is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent time management, accuracy, and attention to detail
• A proactive, enthusiastic approach and a collaborative mindset
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in all tasks
