On Line Recruitment are looking for a Cleaner!

Our client is a leading local government organisation that provides essential services to the Shoalhaven area, focusing on sustainability, infrastructure, and representation. They are dedicated to maintaining high operational standards and providing for the wellbeing and interests of the community.

They are now seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaner to join their team 5 days a week, based in Ulladulla. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of public restrooms and amenities across various locations, ensuring they are hygienic, well-presented, and safe for community use.

As a Cleaner, your role will include:

• Cleaning and sanitising public restrooms, including toilets, basins, floors, and high-touch surfaces
• Restocking toilet paper, soap, and other hygiene supplies as needed
• Conducting regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and report any damage or maintenance issues
• Removing cobwebs, hosing down surfaces, and ensuring external areas are well-maintained
• Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
• Taking before and after photos of cleaned areas as required
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with council hygiene regulations

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• White Card (essential)
• Previous experience in commercial, industrial, or public amenities cleaning
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
• The ability to work independently and follow a set schedule across multiple locations
• A valid driver’s licence (vehicle provided)
• Strong time-management skills to complete tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes
• A proactive approach to identifying and reporting maintenance or safety issues
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and workplace health and safety procedures
