Our client is a high-quality Australian design and manufacturing company at the forefront of tractor-mounted, 3pl machinery. Specialising in post drivers, concrete mixers and hydraulic slashers, their products are constructed with advanced safety features to ensure outstanding reliability and operator protection.

They are now seeking a General Hand to join their busy and well-established team in Nowra. This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in a workshop environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operations, assisting with material handling, workshop cleanliness, and assembly work.

As a General Hand, your role will include:

• Moving and handling steel components safely within the workshop
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the workspace
• Assisting with general workshop duties to support the production team
• Receiving on-the-job training to assemble components to required specifications
• Following all workplace safety guidelines and procedures

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills
• The ability to safely handle and shift steel materials
• Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards workshop maintenance
• A commitment to working safely and following instructions
• Previous experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment (advantageous but not essential)
