Truck Driver

On Line Recruitment are looking for a Truck Driver!

Our client is leading efforts in city revitalisation and concrete infrastructure, with works including kerb and gutter, footpaths, asphalt, stormwater drainage, road maintenance, and traffic control.

They are now seeking a Truck Driver to support their team during a short-term assignment, based in the Illawarra. This role provides an excellent chance to work on critical infrastructure projects while utilising your skills and experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

As a Truck Driver, your role will include:

• Undertaking general labouring duties relevant to the work area
• Safely operating MR or HR vehicles
• Assisting in the cleaning of plant equipment and vehicles
• Undertaking routine checks and basic maintenance to ensure vehicles, tools and equipment under your control are kept in serviceable and safe condition at all times
• Other relevant duties which may be required by the Team Leader or Manager

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current HR licence as minimum
• WHS General Induction Certificate
• Experience in civil labouring duties (advantageous)
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Good communication skills and the ability to engage professionally
• Physical ability to assist with the manual handling of materials when required
