Our Client is a leading arts and cultural precinct located in a picturesque setting on the Shoalhaven River. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty and a rich artistic heritage, Our Client is dedicated to providing a creative and inspiring environment for both artists and visitors. They offer a range of cultural experiences, including exhibitions, workshops, and a welcoming caf? that currently has an opening for a qualified barista.



On behalf of Our Client, we are seeking a talented and passionate Barista to join the caf? team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coffee and a welcoming caf? experience to visitors, artists, and staff. You will work around 35 hours per week across a 5-day roster, with a focus on ensuring exceptional customer service and the consistent preparation of premium coffee and beverages.

As a Barista, you may be required to;

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including coffee machines and equipment.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service to all caf? patrons.
• Ensure smooth daily operations of the caf?, including stock management and food preparation.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and daily reconciliation.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to create a positive and productive environment.
• Ensure the caf? area is clean, hygienic, and well-presented at all times.
• Adhere to food safety and health regulations.
• Engage with visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances their overall experience at the venue.

What we are looking for in a Barista;

To be successful in this role, there are a few things we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a Barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating a positive guest experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Availability to work 35 hours per week across a 5-day roster.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• A friendly, approachable personality with a passion for arts and culture (desirable).
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
