On Line Recruitment is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced and reliable HR Driver to join a leading and respected organisation in the Kiama region. Our client is committed to delivering top-tier waste and recycling services with an emphasis on sustainability, safety, and excellent community engagement.

In this vital role, you’ll be operating heavy rigid (HR) side lift and/or rear lift vehicles for waste collection, ensuring both residential and commercial services are carried out safely and efficiently. As a key member of the Waste Management team, you'll be contributing to a clean, safe, and sustainable environment for the local community.

As a HR Driver, you may be required to;

• Operate side loader and rear lift vehicles to collect and transport waste and recycling materials
• Perform daily maintenance checks on trucks and ensure they meet operational safety standards
• Ensure timely and efficient completion of waste collection services according to schedules
• Provide professional and courteous customer service when interacting with the public
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance or repair needs
• Assist with the manual handling of waste bins when required
• Follow all traffic regulations, safety procedures, and operational guideline

What we are looking for in a HR Driver;

To be successful in this role, there are a few things we are looking for:

• Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver’s licence
• At least 3-5 years’ experience operating side loader and rear lift vehicles
• Strong commitment to safety and operational standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with the public in a professional manner
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Physical ability to assist with manual handling of waste bins
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
