Our Client is a dynamic and rapidly growing residential construction company based in the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Specializing in Class 1 duplex developments, they are committed to delivering high-quality, sustainable homes while maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality, and compliance. With an expanding portfolio of projects, Our Client is looking to bring on an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful delivery of their Class 1 residential projects.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the leadership and execution of Class 1 residential construction projects, with a preference for candidates who have 8-10 years experience or exposure to Class 2 developments. This role will involve end-to-end project management, including overseeing site operations, team leadership, budget management, safety compliance, and quality assurance. As a key member of the team, you will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing similar projects and a proven track record of success.



As a Project Manager, you may be required to;

• Lead and manage a team of site managers, subcontractors, and trades to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee site operations and logistics, ensuring compliance with project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all milestones are met.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, permits, reports, and certificates.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and adherence to building codes.
• Coordinate with consultants, certifiers, and authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals.
• Manage and approve progress claims from consultants and trades.
• Prepare and review contracts with consultants and trades, ensuring clear terms and compliance.
• Proactively manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Report regularly to senior management on project progress, timelines, budget status, and risks.
• Oversee multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely delivery.

What we are looking for in a Project Manager;

To be successful in this role, there are a few things we are looking for:

• 8-10 years experience with Class 2 developments is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant Project Management and WHS certifications. Builder or Supervisor license is preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project), Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse construction teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure alignment among team members, stakeholders, and consultants.
• High attention to detail in managing safety, quality assurance, budgets, and compliance.
• Strong ability to identify and resolve challenges in a timely and effective manner.
