About the Role

As a Construction Cadet, you will:

  • Assist with Site Management: Learn to read and interpret construction plans, help organise subcontractors and suppliers, and maintain a clean and well-presented site.
  • Get Hands-On Experience: Actively participate in site activities, keep site records, and support the Site Foreman, Site Manager, and Project Manager.
  • Develop Administrative Skills: Use industry-standard software like Procore and Bluebeam to manage documentation, mark-up plans, and measure project components.
  • Engage with the Team: Work closely with team members, contribute to a positive workplace culture, and assist in company events.
  • Prioritize Safety: Support WHS documentation, conduct safety inductions, and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Current Students: 1st or 2nd year university students pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Passionate Learners: A strong interest in the construction industry and a genuine desire to learn.
  • Effective Communicators: Good communication and organizational skills, with a basic understanding of construction principles and techniques.
  • Team Players: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
