Civil Plant Operator

On Line Recruitment are currently looking for Plant Operators!

Our Client is conducting civil construction and maintenance works to assist in city revitalisation and concrete infrastructure within the local area. The works include kerb and gutter, footpath, asphalt, stormwater drainage or road maintenance and traffic control in one of the largest growing regions in New South Wales.

Our Client is now seeking skilled plant operators to join the team and assist in a variety of civil projects around the Illawarra.

As a Plant Operator, you may be required to;

• Undertake general labouring duties relevant to the work area
• Safely operate plant and equipment relevant to the work area
• Operate Skid Steers
• Operate Excavators
• Operate Backhoes
• Assist in the cleaning of plant and equipment
• Undertake routine checks and basic maintenance to ensure tools and equipment under your control are always kept in a serviceable and safe condition
• Other relevant duties which may be required by the site supervisor

What we are looking for in a Plant Operator;

To be successful in this role, there are a few things we are looking for:

• Experience in civil labouring duties, it is advantageous if your experience is relevant to the work area (kerb and gutter, footpath, asphalt, stormwater drainage or road maintenance)
• Hold relevant licenses / tickets to plant equipment
• Be able to operate minor plant and equipment associated with construction and maintenance work
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• WHS General Induction Certificate (White Card)
• MR or HR class driver’s licence
• Excavator, Skid steer and/or Backhoe/Loader Experience
• Traffic Control
