On Line Recruitment are currently looking for Chefs!

Our client is a leader in creating a cultural institution in learning, art exhibitions, conferences, weddings and events located in the Shoalhaven. They have a significant and diverse portfolio of assets including heritage buildings and gardens, architecturally award-winning modern and contemporary architectural structures surrounded by parkland and bushland.

We are currently seeking an Experienced Chefs to prepare meals for corporate work events, event and entertainment catering or the onsite Café. You will work as part of the team including the Café Supervisor and apprentices

As Chef, you will be required to;

• Report to the Sous Chef / Executive Chef
• Produce and serve a variety of menu offerings for the organisation in conjunction with the Executive Chef.
• Deliver a range of food service offerings including but not limited to café service, event service & catering services.
• Maintain the organisations food safety program requirements and take action to resolve issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen and equipment.
• Receive and rotate stock as required by the business.
• Adhere to and promote the organisations code of conduct expectations.

What we are looking for in a Chef…

To be successful in this role, there are a few things we are looking for:

• Grade 3 commercial cookery (Trade) qualification.
• Valid class C drivers license.
• 3 years commercial cookery experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible roster.
• The ability to acquire a working with children check.
• A valid National Police Check.
• A strong team player who also has an ability to work autonomously
