Our client is a leader in creating a cultural institution for artistic enjoyment and learning, that thrives today in the Shoalhaven. They have a significant and diverse portfolio of assets including heritage buildings and gardens, architecturally award-winning modern and contemporary architectural structures surrounded by parkland and bushland.

We are currently seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the management of these diverse assets, be responsible for a small team, and liaise on the delivery of works with various third parties.

This is a hands-on role in which you will frequently be at work across different parts of the property, as well as work from your office base alongside other staff.

Duties are but not limited to:

  • Asset management including fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment
  • Manage and maintain the land and building assets
  • Ensure compliance to WHS and building standards
  • Complete assessments for faults and problems
  • Access and site safety management
  • Assist with budgets and reporting
  • Build and maintain relationships with management and stakeholders

Required skills and experience:

  • A qualification in facility management of building maintenance (or other relevant courses)
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Demonstrated experience managing staff
  • Knowledge in the management of buildings and infrastructure
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Professional demeanour

Have or willing to obtain the following:

  • First aid qualification
  • A NSW working with children check
  • Police check
  • NSW drivers license
  • COVID-19 vaccination
