Our client is a busy café/restaurant located in the historic town of Berry NSW. Their seasonal menus are created to showcase the best of the local regional produce around the Shoalhaven area. They have a reputation for creating a superb working culture and having high employee retention.

We are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join their front of house team. Reporting directly to the business owner, this is a position where the scope of the role and your career development can be tailored over time to suit your strengths, experience and interests.

You will be responsible for the management of day-to-day business operations providing supervision of up to 9 FOH staff members at a time. You will need to demonstrate proven experience working in a fast-paced environment and deal well under pressure.

Offering a fulltime position, you must be available to work weekends but your days off will be fixed and in a row each week (flexible as to which weekdays). They are open 7 days a week from 8:00am-3:00pm and turnover up between 250-450 pax per day.

Training will be provided. Duties are but not limited to:


  • Managing the front of house team
  • Complaints resolution
  • Staff rostering
  • Stock ordering and stock control
  • Communicate with the kitchen
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures
  • Events management

Required skills and experience:


  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
  • Previously worked in a café environment
  • Current RSA
  • Basic knowledge with wine, spirits and cocktails is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well and keep calm under pressure
  • Thrives working in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Proactive, can-do attitude
